During the initial meeting, members will receive the RJAG Charter which outlines the purpose, objectives, and resources for the group. At a minimum, members will be asked to participate in monthly scheduled meetings, as well as performing work outside RJAG sessions, either individually or on small team projects. Several focus areas may include detailed assessments of a select school district and the schools of which it is comprising, what are specific school cultures and priorities, what is the best community engagement approach for teachers, parents and students, what program funding through grants are available, identification of initial RJ standards and best practices, basic and advanced RJ training requirements, and more. The result of RJAG will be a concise list of recommendations to the Executive Director; an aid in building the pilot program, engaging partners, and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders in school communities. Interested volunteers are welcome!
